Web3 CONNECT Africa in Nairobi is a prestigious event aiming to accelerate the growth of Web3 technology in Africa. In this event, we will showcase NODO, the leading pan-African Web3 news, discovery, and product community platform, along with the NODO GRANTS program for Web3 projects and business ideas.
Web3 CONNECT Africa in Nairobi aims to foster connections among various Web3 stakeholders in Kenya and facilitate a deeper understanding of the current state of Web3 in Africa. It will raise awareness, foster growth, and promote the adoption of Web3 technology throughout Africa. The event provides a platform for attendees to explore the challenges and potential of building in Africa's Web3 ecosystem through insightful panel discussions featuring esteemed guest speakers from African Web3 projects.
By attending, participants will have the opportunity to learn about NODO platform and the many valuable services it offers including Web3 news reporting and community outreach service, Web3 product discovery portal, Web3 product community hub, and more. Attendees will also gain insights into the NODO GRANTS program which aims at fostering the growth of African Web3 business ideas and products. Attendees will also have valuable networking and business opportunities as the event will gather Web3 experts, accelerators, and VCs across Africa as well as internationally.
This event will also feature a pitching contest between NODO GRANT nominees where the winner, selected by the NODO GRANT Expert panel, will be rewarded with 1,000 USD.

About Power Learn Project
Power Learn Project is an impact organization aiming to drive transformative change for African youths by powering them with relevant skills through providing quality and decentralized tech training. PLP aims to kickstart software careers with entry-level, fully funded training using free data access and self-paced learning management over 16 weeks. The course ranges from programming languages such as Python and Dart Programming with Flutter to Blockchain 101, Databases, Data Science, and Entrepreneurial skills.
Upon completion of the course, learners will have access to a number of opportunities and alternative educational pathways through the organization, ranging from internships and proof of work opportunities or venture studio and incubator connections if they want to explore entrepreneurship.
